At Doorstep Mobile Repair (DSMR) (doorstepmobilerepair.in), we stand behind the quality of our repairs. To give you peace of mind, we provide a limited warranty on eligible repairs and replacement parts. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not, and how to claim warranty service.
1. Warranty Coverage
- All eligible repairs and replacement parts come with a limited warranty ranging from 1 month to a maximum of 1 Year, depending on the service and parts used. Local or non-genuine parts, and certain components not covered under standard warranty, will be clearly informed to you in advance.
- Warranty applies only to the specific issue repaired and the specific part replaced during the original service.
- If the repaired part or service fails under normal usage conditions within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it at no additional part or labor cost. However, a service visit charge of ₹499 per visit will apply.
2. Warranty Eligibility
To qualify for warranty coverage:
- The repair must have been performed by Doorstep Mobile Repair.
- The customer must present the original invoice/receipt at the time of warranty claim.
- The warranty period begins from the date of original repair, not from the date of warranty claim.
3. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover the following:
- Physical damage after repair (Green Lines on Display, cracks, dents, broken glass, accidental drops).
- Liquid damage (water, moisture, or other liquid exposure).
- Tampering or unauthorized repairs performed by another technician or service center after our repair.
- Software issues (updates, malware, third-party apps) unless software repair was part of the original service.
- Data loss during or after repair. Customers are responsible for backing up their data.
- Issues arising from customer-declined recommendations (e.g., customer chooses temporary fix instead of recommended replacement).
- Consumable parts like batteries if used abnormally (overcharging, exposure to heat, non-genuine chargers).
4. Limitation of Liability
- Our liability under this warranty is strictly limited to repairing or replacing the defective part/service originally provided.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as data loss, business interruption, or financial losses caused by device failure.
5. Warranty Claim Procedure
- Customers must contact us via phone, email, or WhatsApp to raise a warranty claim.
- The device will be inspected by our technician to verify eligibility.
- If the claim is valid, the repair/replacement will be carried out free of cost.
- If the issue is unrelated to the original repair, normal service charges will apply.
6. Final Decision
- Doorstep Mobile Repair reserves the right to determine warranty eligibility and the appropriate course of action (repair, replacement, or denial of claim).
- Our decision regarding warranty claims shall be final and binding.
