Welcome to Doorstep Mobile Repair (doorstepmobilerepair.in). By using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read these carefully before scheduling a repair appointment, requesting service, or using our website. These Terms establish the agreement between you ("Customer," "You") and Doorstep Mobile Repair ("Company," "We," "Us," or "Our").

By booking or accepting a service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

1. Scope of Services

We provide professional doorstep repair services for:

  • Smartphones (Android, iphone)
  • Tablets & iPads
  • Laptops (Windows, MacBook, Chromebook)
  • Desktops
  • Software troubleshooting & installation
  • Hardware replacement & upgrades
  • Data recovery services

Our services include diagnostics, repair, part replacement, installation, and general maintenance.

2. Free Home Visit Policy

  • We provide free doorstep visits for device assessment and repair, provided that the customer proceeds with the repair service. In such cases, the customer only pays for the actual repair or replacement performed, and the visit itself remains free.
  • If the technician has already explained the estimated repair details, charges, and terms over phone/WhatsApp before the visit, and the customer confirms the appointment, then denies the repair upon visit, a ₹299 technician compensation fee will be charged. This covers the technician’s time, travel, and assessment.
  • In cases where the device cannot be repaired on-site and must be taken to our service center, collection and delivery remain free, provided the repair is carried out.

3. Charges & Payment

  • Customers are required to pay only for repairs and parts used.
  • Estimates will be provided before work begins. In case additional issues are found, customer approval will be taken before proceeding.
  • Payment must be made immediately after service completion, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods: UPI, Credit Card, Debit Card.

4. Warranty Terms

  • All repairs are covered by a limited warranty ranging from 1 month to 3 months, depending on the nature of the repair and replacement parts.
  • Warranty covers the same issue and same part repaired/replaced.
  • Warranty is void if:
    • Device has been opened, tampered with, or repaired by a third party after our service.
    • Damage arises from liquid, physical shock, misuse, or unauthorized software modifications.
    • Customer declines recommended part replacement and chooses temporary solutions.

5. Data & Privacy

  • While we take every precaution to protect your data, we are not responsible for data loss that may occur during repair or data recovery attempts.
  • Customers are advised to backup important files before handing over the device.
  • All personal data shared with us (names, addresses, phone numbers) will be handled as per our Privacy Policy.

6. Liability Limitations

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (loss of data, business interruption, or profits) caused by repair delays, parts availability, or failed data recovery.
  • In rare cases where a device becomes non-functional during a repair attempt (due to pre-existing damage or critical hardware failure), our liability is limited to refunding the repair charges paid.
  • Replacement parts may be original, OEM, or high-quality compatible, depending on availability and customer choice.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate details of the issue and any prior repair attempts.
  • Ensure accessibility to the repair location (electricity, seating, safe work environment).
  • Back up data before repair.
  • Check and confirm device condition after service completion.

8. Appointment, Cancellation & Delays

  • Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or WhatsApp.
  • Customers must inform us of any cancellations or rescheduling at least 4 hours before the appointment.
  • While we strive to provide timely service, delays may occur due to traffic, part unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances.

9. Software & Licensing

  • We only install genuine, licensed software. If the customer provides software, it is their responsibility to ensure legality.
  • We are not responsible for issues arising from pirated or unlicensed software provided by customers.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
  • In case of disputes, customers should first contact us for resolution before pursuing legal action.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with the "Effective Date" updated. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
